Bye bye USB – Hello Light Peak!

Intel demoed their upcoming Light Peak connections on IDF 2010 in San Francisco. The data is transferred in fiber cables with a transfer speed up to 10Gbit/s – bi directional! I can see why Intel haven’t started supporting USB 3.0
