Windows Phone 7 Marketplace passes 6000 apps

The developers interest keeps up and the apps keep comming for Windows Phone 7.

The marketplace just passed 6000 apps, and the pace seems to keep around 450 approved apps a week.

During Steve Ballmer’s keynote at CES last week he hinted at more high profile apps that are incomming for the market. Among others he hinted at Rovio’s Angry Birds finally arriving.

Here’s hoping that 2011 will be a splendid year for the Marketplace!
